LIONEL RICHIE 2023 TOUR

I had an amazing time three years ago when I was asked to create animation content for Lionel Richie's tour in Las Vegas. The show was a huge success, and I was thrilled to be a part of it.

So when I was asked again to create a series of animation for the opening title and the fantastic platinum song "Dancing on the Ceiling," I was honoured. I knew that this was an opportunity to create something truly special.

The opening title animation is a montage of images that capture the essence of Lionel Richie's music and career. I co-directed the Opening with my friend and long time collaborator Amir B Ash

The animation for "Dancing on the Ceiling" is more wild and vibrant. The entire video is pretty much created out of footage of Dance, Ceilings and Lionel Richie.

I wanted to create a visual representation of the song's lyrics and the feeling of being "dancing on the ceiling."

I'm very proud of the work that we did on this project. I think we created something truly special that will enhance the live experience of Lionel Richie's tour.

I would like to express my gratitude to my team, creative partner Brian Burke, and Lionel Richie for letting me go wild with the ideas. It was an amazing experience, and I'm grateful for the opportunity.
